K. Transforming T'fillah - How Do We Connect Our Youth to Prayer? (40-Minute Chug)
Cantor Shira Nafshi
This Chug is a discussion for all congregations - how do we engage and connect our youth to our prayers? What are the modalities, the learning, the different ways they may need to access prayer? We will discuss and brainstorm creative ways we can study prayer with our youth, so that we can move them beyond rote learning to understanding.
L. Jews and The Slow Fashion Movement (40-Minute Chug)
Rabbi Carole Balin
Do you knit? crochet? needlepoint? Then you know that crafting can be meditative, relaxing, and may reduce vulnerability to dementia, anxiety, and high blood pressure. Join fellow crafters as we work our magic and discuss examples of crafters from the Jewish past who made a difference through textiles.
M. Fun and Games (40-Minute Chug)
Rabbi Elisa Koppel
Take a play break with Rabbi Elisa Koppel. A bunch of games will be provided, and you may feel free to bring your own or suggest some!
