WRN Convention 2025: Pure WRN!


Join us as we gather in the greater area of Detroit, Michigan, with our homebase at the Embassy Suites Detroit-Troy/Auburn Hills. As we look toward the future, we are excited to inspire you with the many places and people that make Detroit and the Jewish community unique. We are grateful to our Detroit-based colleagues who are supporting this vision.

Convention Fees:

Registration fees include all meals except one dinner. Participation in the Convention, including communal meals, is limited to WRN members and invited guests. Family members are welcome to stay in the hotel and enjoy the Detroit area while the Convention is in progress. Hotel reservation fees are not included with the convention rate.

Registration for Chugim will take place later in the spring. Any optional additional fees will be paid then.

At this time we are not expecting to have a virtual option. However, we may be able to stream tefilah or limited teaching sessions.

Scholarships are available while funds last. Scholarships for registration fees are self-accessed during the registration process. For additional information, contact Mary Zamore. 



Cancellation Policy for WRN Convention:

In the event that one needs to cancel, there will be a non-refundable fee of $150 for cancellations before 4/21/2025.  After 4/21/2025 we will not be able to make any refunds due to the contractual obligations. The hotel has a separate cancellation policy. Please make note of it when you book your room.



Participation Policy and Safe/Respectful Brit for WRN Convention:

All participants in the WRN convention and its accompanying online zoom program are expected to adhere to and uphold WRN's anti-harassment policy, in order to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for all.


Participation in the 2025 WRN convention indicates permission to be photographed and/or video recorded. WRN retains the right to use and/or publish these photographs and recordings.

    • Bookings outside of this special WRN link hurts, our ability to reach our contractual obligations. Please use the link.
    • Rooms available for the convention Monday, May 12-Thursday, May 15, as well as before and after the convention on Sunday, May 11, and Thursday, May 15, for easy travel.
    • Rooms are suites with private bathrooms and 2 double beds for comfortable sharing or a king bed. Single occupancy available.
    • Travel tip: You can use Hilton points to pay in part or full for your room.
    • If you are sharing a room, only one person should book the room. You are responsible for finding your own roommate and working out the details of sharing the room.
    • Each suite has a separate living room, bedroom, and parlor area. In-suite amenities include: couch with pull out sofa, TVs, Wi-fi, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, in-suite safe, and desk. 
    • Free made-to-order breakfast, complimentary evening reception and local shuttle. Indoor pool and fitness center also on site.
    • The hotel is located 38 miles from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and 20 miles from downtown Detroit.

    • Dress is casual throughout the convention(Although we will have a photographer in residence who may be able to take a more professional picture for you, if you want to bring a nice top)
    • Comfortable shoes for walking
    • Workout clothes We will have access to the hotel's small gym and pool
    • Tallit, kippah, tefillin (as is your tradition)
    • Games, crafts, coloring supplies, yarn crafts, musical instruments (just for fun and relaxation!)
    • Any Covid related supplies you may need like, tests, masks
    • Charging cords
    • Cash for open, cash bar at dinners
    • Sunscreen and a hat
    • Rain jacket and umbrella
    • Reusable water bottle
    • If you are traveling by public transportation/airplane and need us to buy something for you to have at the conference, let Mary know. For example, distilled water
