Elul is the Hebrew month leading up to the High Holy Days. During this month we are encouraged to take a deep look inwards at how we have responded to the blessings and challenges of the past year. It is a time for heshbon hanefesh, an accounting of the soul, where we examine who we are and who we wish to be in the coming year. It is a time of self-reflection, forgiveness, and exploration.

WRN rabbis contributed a month's worth of inspiring video teachings which provided short kavanot, spiritual offerings to help participants reflect, explore, and contemplate as they continued thier journey into 5781, the Jewish new year.

The video project was curated by WRN member Rabbi Stephanie Kramer, senior associate rabbi of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Santa Rosa, CA.
